Audi Q8 e-tron launched: Warranty and benefits explained

 

Audi India has launched the Q8 e-tron, the facelifted version of its flagship electric SUV, at a starting price of Rs 1.14 crore (ex-showroom). The Q8 e-tron is available in two variants – 50 e-tron and 55 e-tron – and two body types – SUV and Sportback. The Q8 e-tron competes with the likes of Jaguar I-Pace and BMW iX in the luxury electric SUV segment.

The Q8 e-tron is powered by two battery packs – a 95kWh and a 114kWh unit. The former produces 340bhp and 664Nm of torque, while the latter churns out 408bhp and the same amount of torque. The Q8 e-tron can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 5.6 to 6 seconds, depending on the variant, and has a top speed of 200kmph. The Q8 e-tron can deliver a range of up to 600km on a single charge, as per the WLTP cycle.

The Q8 e-tron can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 31 minutes using a 170kW DC fast charger. Audi India also offers an 11kW AC home charger for the Q8 e-tron customers, which can fully charge the battery in about nine hours. Additionally, Audi India has partnered with Tata Power to provide access to over 300 charging stations across the country.

The Q8 e-tron comes with a host of features and benefits for customers. Some of the key features are:
