BattRE’s R&D center in Jaipur gets DSIR recognition
BattRE Electric Mobility (BattRE), a leading e-mobility company focused on providing sustainable and performance-rich commute experiences, has announced that its in-house R&D unit has been certified by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, under the certification TU/IV-RD/4916/2023.
According to the company, the recognition of its R&D center in Jaipur, Rajasthan, affirms the company’s commitment to providing the safest and most efficient electric vehicles to its riders across the country.
The company’s innovation is powered by its in-house R&D center.
The center, which opened in 2020, has already received 20 patents, including 12 for its electric scooters and 8 for its upcoming motorcycles.
The R&D center specializes in design and sketching, prototyping, market research, vehicle testing and validation, 3D modeling, and structural analysis.
According to a press release, the company has several upcoming products in the works.

The Ministry of Science and Technology evaluates various Indian companies regularly to qualify and recognize their R&D units. According to the release, this certification has one of the most stringent safety and performance standards for electric two-wheelers in India under the guidelines of DSIR.
