BluSmart buys 500 MG ZS EVs to expand its EV ride-hailing service in India
BluSmart, a leading EV ride-hailing service and EV charging superhub infrastructure operator has ordered 500 units of the MG ZS EV, India’s first pure-electric internet SUV.
Earlier, BluSmart raised $42 million in fresh funding in May 2023, including $37 million in equity funding and $5 million in venture debt. Also, the funding had participation from the firm’s existing investors, including BP Ventures, and BluSmart plans to expand its fleet of 3,500 EVs to about 10,000 in FY24

The ZS EV has the segment’s largest 50.3kWH advanced technology battery, which can travel 461 kilometers on a single charge and meets global safety standards.
The ZS EV’s powerful motor produces best-in-class power of 176PS and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.5 seconds.
The flagship electric SUV features a prismatic cell battery with a high energy density that improves range and life.
