Snow+ low-speed electric scooter launched by Crayon Motors

Crayon Motors, an Indian e-mobility solutions manufacturer, has launched the Snow+ electric scooter in Indian market. It is a low-speed electric two-wheeler that combines best-in-class comfort and functionally superior performance at 14p/km, according to the firm.

The e-scooter is made in Uttar Pradesh and is designed specifically for light mobility.
The top speed is limited to 25 km/h, allowing riders to ride without a driver’s license or car registration.

For any electric scooter manufacturer, India is a very big market.

The scooter’s price ranges from Rs 64,000 to Rs 70,000. Customers can choose from four colors: Fiery Red, Sunshine Yellow, Classic Grey, and Super White. The purchase comes with a two-year warranty.

Snow+ is a light mobility scooter that draws inspiration from traditional scooter designs. The electric scooter’s top speed is limited to 25 kilometers per hour. This means that there is no need for a driver’s license or a vehicle’s statutory registration. It has a high-efficiency 250-Watt BLDC motor with a peak power output that allows it to cruise at top speed. The e-tubeless scooter’s tires and disc brake provide 155 mm ground clearance for stress-free riding on uneven roads.

Other notable features include a digital speedometer, central locking, USB charging for mobile devices, anti-theft, and navigation systems (GPS). The electric vehicle also has large cargo space, making it perfect for last-mile delivery.

“Customers remain at the core of everything we do,” says Mayank Jain, co-founder, and director of Crayon Motors. We’re ecstatic to bring Snow+ to the Indian market. We started with low-speed e-scooters and are now working our way up to high-speed. Low-speed e-scooters are a cost-effective buy for riders who commute within the city daily. These scooters meet customers’ expectations by providing a hassle-free, cost-effective, and joyful travel experience.”

Financial institutions with whom Crayon Motors has worked to give a varied array of financing options include Bajaj Finserv, Manappuram Finance, IDFC First, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Zest Money, ShopSe, and Paytail. To begin, the brand new scooter is accessible at 100 retail locations around the country, including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Bihar, among others.

By the end of February 2022, Crayon Motors will also unveil two new high-speed scooter models with mileage ranging from 70 to 130 kilometers per hour. From an ecological and environmental standpoint, Crayon Motors claims that for every product sold, it will plant one tree, resulting in a two-fold benefit.
