Svitch MotoCorp, a local manufacturer, plans to release the CSR 762, a next-generation electric motorcycle, in July or August 2022.
The CSR 762 features a 3kW motor with a peak output of 10kW at 1300 RPM, powered by a PIV1SM motor with a central drive system and a battery capacity of up to 3.7kWh Li-ion, nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC), according to the firm.
According to government policies, the corporation also intends to establish battery switching stations.

The price before the subsidy is estimated to be INR 1.65 lakh. It will cost INR 1.25 lakh after the Union government rebate, according to the company statement.

Svitch’s founder, Rajkumar Patel, stated, “For the layman, the CSR 762 offers a complete and pleasant on-road riding experience. It is designed to provide bicycling aficionados with luxury, style, and sustainability all in one package.”

The bike’s top speed is 110 km/h, and depending on the many modes available, the bike can travel up to 120 kilometres on a single charge. The wheelbase is 1430 mm, with a curb weight of 155 kg and a weight capacity of 200 kg, respectively. The trail is 136mm and the rake is 24 degrees. The seat height is 780 mm, and there are six modes to choose from: three driving modes, one parking mode, one reverse mode, and one sports mode.

The company is also streamlining the dealership and distributorship processes, as the brand is searching for EV fans and businesses to connect with the brand.
