The electric vehicle market is rapidly growing, and automakers are attempting to keep up by producing new electric vehicles (EVs) each year. The MINI Electric Convertible, the first electric convertible from one of these automakers, was just introduced. There will be 999 units total made of the MINI Electric Convertible. A fabric roof of the MINI Electric Convertible, an all-electric variation of the MINI Cooper Convertible, can be lifted or lowered in under 18 seconds. The EV has a range of around 198 kilometers and a maximum power output of 184 horsepower. Sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h takes 8.2 seconds.
Two exterior color options—White Silver or Enigmatic Black—as well as a fixed standard, are available for the MINI Electric Convertible. The MINI emblem and model lettering is done in Piano Black, while door handles, side scuttles, and the surrounds of the front and rear lights are painted in Resolute Bronze.
The front apron and the rear have the E logo, which is also on the MINI Electric. The side scuttles and door sill trims contain edition-specific information and have sequential numbering for each of the 999 possible pieces. The MINI Electric Convertible also features 17″ 2-tone alloy wheels that are unique to the edition.
The electric MINI sports seats have a Leather Lounge design, seat heating, and adjustable thigh support. The multi-purpose sports steering wheel, which is covered in Nappa leather and has the MINI Electric emblem on it, is also heated. Piano Black interior surface finishes are combined with distinctive MINI Electric yellow elements, including the start-stop toggle switch, to create a polished look.
It has a Head-Up Display with information about its current energy usage, range, and driving suggestions. Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go functionality and MINI Driving Assistance are available for longer trips.
