RACEnergy creates electric vehicle retrofitting kits for converting traditional three-wheelers to electric cars. Through its battery switching stations, it also supplies energy infrastructure.
In 2021, the firm raised $1.3 million in a seed round led by Micelio Fund and growX Ventures. Huddle, Prophetic Ventures, and BITSian Angels were among the investors in the round.
The funds raised from the round were invested in R&D, which improved the startup’s ability to switch technology and infrastructure.
It previously received $500K in seed funding from growX Ventures, Prophetic Ventures, and a few angel investors.
By 2023, it plans to establish a large battery-swapping network in India and expand to other continents.
