Hala Mobility partners with Log9 Materials for fast-charging 2-wheelers
New Delhi: Hala Mobility India, a multimodal EV logistics services platform with its headquarters in Hyderabad, and Log9 Materials, a Bengaluru-based battery technology firm, have announced a long-term strategic relationship. This partnership aims to develop a cleaner, more sustainable future for India’s urban transportation industry.
Hala Mobility will have access to 1500 cutting-edge BzinessLite InstaCharged by Log9 Materials electric two-wheelers as part of the cooperation, allowing them to provide clients with an unmatched experience. Additionally, Log9 will give Hala Mobility access to a large number of rapid-charging locations, ensuring that their end users have quick and effective charging options wherever they go.
These Log9-provided, high-performance electric 2Ws will be used by Hala Mobility and its clients and will initially be installed in phases around Hyderabad. Up to 300 e-2Ws will be added each month until the end of 2023.
Later on, it will spread to other big Indian cities including Mumbai, Pune, Visakhapatnam, Chennai, Vijayawada, and Bengaluru, having a substantial influence on India’s developing urban clean transportation scene. These commercial electric vehicles (CEVs) will serve a range of B2B use cases, such as food delivery, courier services, and the last-mile logistics market in India.
With electric 2Ws paving the way for the EV transition in urban logistics, the partnership between Log9 and Hala Mobility intends to solve this environmental problem by implementing zero-emission electric cars for the last-mile supply chain.
In order to guarantee that Hala Mobility’s consumers have a hassle-free experience with their EVs throughout their usage lifecycle, Log9 Materials will also play a crucial role in facilitating the charging, repairing, and maintenance elements of these e-bikes. This joint initiative demonstrates both businesses’ dedication to providing outstanding customer service.
Srikanth Reddy, founder & CEO, of Hala Mobility says, “We at Hala Mobility recognize the varied needs of our customers, which necessitates providing both diverse and tailored solutions for EV users. And hence, we decided to embark on a transformative partnership with Log9.”
The remark was mirrored by Kartik Hajela, Co-Founder & COO of Log9 Materials, who emphasized their shared commitment to electrifying last-mile logistics in order to make urban mobility in India cleaner, greener, and more environmentally responsible.
The fastest-charging e-2W cargo vehicle in India, the BzinessLite, was unveiled in May 2023 by Log9 in partnership with EV manufacturer Quantum Energy. It boasts a 12-minute charging time thanks to Log9’s superior LTO (Lithium-Titanium Oxide) battery-technology integration.
