HOP OXO electric motorcycle revealed

HOP OXO electric motorcycle revealed ahead of launch

HOP Electric Mobility claims to have completed over 30,000 kilometers of testing in 20 cities throughout India, including Jaipur, Jodhpur, Patna, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ludhiana, and others.

HOP Electric Mobility, located in Jaipur, has unveiled its future motorcycle, the OXO, ahead of its introduction. The electric motorbike is now being tested in a “closed-loop” environment. The #OXOSNEAKPEEK testing program has been expanded to chosen dealer partners and customers to obtain feedback towards getting the motorbike ready for the market.
These insights will aid HOP Electric in determining consumer needs and developing a product that meets them. The OXO, on the other hand, will be equipped with a lithium-ion battery pack that might provide a range of roughly 150 kilometers on a single charge. The OXO is expected to reach a peak speed of around 100 kilometers per hour, according to the firm.

HOP Electric Mobility’s CEO and Co-Founder, Ketan Mehta, stated, “Even though the products are produced in studios and labs by engineers and designers, feedback from dealers and consumers is critical. HOP Electric Mobility is proud to announce that it is the first Indian EV company to begin consumer testing. We receive immediate feedback and ideas from chosen partners through the #OXOSNEAKPEEK initiative. These suggestions, in addition to the information we’ve gained from over 30,000 kilometers of on-road internal testing across India, will be critical in introducing products that meet the needs of today’s customers.”

For a nominal fee of Rs 999, the HOP OXO may be pre-ordered on the company’s website. HOP Electric is also working on a high-speed electric scooter, a new-generation version of its LYF e-scooter, in addition to the motorbike (internally named LYF2.0). By the end of the year, the firm hopes to have expanded its retail footprint to 300 cities. In January 2022, HOP Electric launched ten additional experience centers around the country, bringing the total number of such facilities to 54.
