Matter Automotive introduces, an active liquid-cooled E2W battery pack: Could this be a solution for EV fires?
The high power-density battery pack has secured an IP67 rating and it will power Matter’s upcoming electric two-wheeler scheduled for launch this year, a company statement said.
Technology startup, Matter unveiled today MatterEnergy 1.0 battery pack with Integrated Intelligent Thermal Management System and Super Smart Battery Management System. The high power-density battery pack has secured an IP67 rating and it will power Matter’s upcoming electric two-wheeler scheduled for launch this year, a company statement said.
Mohal Lalbhai, founder and CEO, Matter, said, “As the safety and performance of battery-powered electric vehicles are integral to their viability and acceptability, Matter has developed a highly purpose-built battery pack that will meet the needs of the E2W industry.“
We must focus on a product development cycle that is simulation-intensive, rigorously tested, and verified for dependability and safety if electric vehicles are to become popular. This technique should be taken into account when designing and developing the battery pack. The Matter Energy 1.0 battery pack, a ground-breaking futuristic battery pack, is fully charged and ready to power India’s E2W landscape.
The high voltage, high-performance battery pack created with tenets of safety, security, reliability, and performance is developed with future mobility in mind, enabling greater range while guaranteeing vehicle safety. The Integrated Intelligent Thermal Management System (IITMS) used in the battery pack is an active liquid cooling system that ensures the optimum performance of all constituents of the pack.
The Battery Pack Technology, Battery Management System (BMS), and the Integrated Intelligent Thermal Management System have been designed and built with the heterogeneity of India’s extraordinary variety of climatic conditions and geographies, the company release said.
