NueGo flags off an all-women intercity e-bus service from Delhi to Agra
Greenwell Mobility’s premium electric bus brand, NueGo, has launched an all-women intercity bus from Delhi’s Kashmere Gate ISBT to Agra.
A skilled and experienced female pilot and in-bus host drove the bus. The passengers were all female. The female pilot had received special training.
According to a press release, NueGo is committed to promoting and supporting the employment of women in its workforce and provides facilities designed specifically for women employees, such as flexible working hours and particular leave policies.
NueGo prioritizes creating a safe and comfortable travel environment for female passengers. To accomplish this, when a female passenger books a seat on one of its buses, the adjacent seat can only be reserved by another female passenger. This seating arrangement is intended to provide a safe and enjoyable journey for women onboard. Furthermore, NueGo is committed to reducing carbon emissions and is an environmentally friendly option for passengers. According to the release, the brand also prioritizes safety by outfitting its buses with CCTV surveillance, comfortable seating, and highly trained coach hosts who can answer any questions or concerns.
NueGo operates between some of the country’s most popular destinations, including Delhi-Chandigarh, Delhi-Dehradun, Delhi-Agra, Delhi-Jaipur, Agra-Jaipur, Indore-Bhopal, Bangalore-Tirupati, and Hyderabad-Vijayawada.
