Simple Energy to launch E2W Simple ONE on May 23, 2023
Simple Energy, a leading electric vehicle and clean energy startup announced on Wednesday that its electric 2-wheeler Simple ONE will be launched on May 23, 2023, in Bengaluru as a premium and affordable EV.
The scooter offers a range of 236 km, and a top speed of 105 km/h. Available for pre-booking, it comes with a three-year warranty on the vehicle, batteries, and charger.
This scooter has a battery pack that meets safety regulations, making it the only scooter in the segment with the safest battery.
Simple ONE will be one of the few E2W to provide the longest range and alleviate customer range worry.
On the announcement of the launch date, Suhas Rajkumar, Founder & CEO, of Simple Energy, said, “When we set out to make the Simple ONE, our aim was to provide to our valued customers a product that matches up to the level of the global players. To that end, we have spent the last 2 years vigorously testing our product in the most demanding conditions and ensuring that the result is the best in the business.”
“With the official confirmation of the launch of Simple ONE, we would also like to announce that we are the first OEM to comply with the Automotive Industry Standards (AIS) 156 amendment 3 that ensures greater battery safety. Simple ONE is now faster, improved on aesthetics, on battery systems and powertrains and offers unmatched safety. We have successfully addressed the issues during testing and are confident that our product will stand true to the wait,” he added.
Simple Energy intends to remain at the vanguard of the ongoing worldwide transition to green mobility, with new products in the pipeline and a primary focus on R&D.
