According to Chandra, “this alliance will further solidify our market position in the fleet industry.”
According to Prabhjeet Singh, president of Uber India and South Asia, Uber is dedicated to bringing sustainable, shared transportation to India, and this cooperation with Tata Motors marks a significant step forward in that direction.
“It is the biggest EV agreement between a carmaker and an Indian ride-hailing service to date.
As we aim to create a sustainable future, it will accelerate the Uber platform’s move toward zero emissions ” Prabhjeet Singh Added.
At its facilities, Tata Motors has produced more than 50,000 EVs for the consumer and fleet markets. The carmaker introduced the “XPRES” brand in July 2021, which was created specifically for fleet clients. The XPRES-T EV is the first car to carry this brand.
