Tata Smart Electric Bus Prototype by Tata Motors Flagged off in Bengaluru

 

Tata Motors’ Smart Electric Bus

Dr. N. V. Prasad, IAS, Secretary to Government, Transport Department, along with other officials, including Ms. G. Sathyavathi, IAS, Managing Director, Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), Mr. Rohit Srivastava, Business Head – CV Passenger, Tata Motors, and Asim Mukhopadhyay, CEO, and MD, TML Smart City Mobility Solutions Limited, officially launched a prototype of the smart electric bus from Tata.

Bangalore residents will now have better, safer, and more environmentally friendly public transit. Today, Dr. N. V. Prasad, IAS, Secretary to Government, Transport Department, Ms. G. Sathyavathi, IAS, Managing Director, Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), and representatives from the Government of Karnataka, BMTC, and Tata Motors flagged off the prototype of the smart electric bus from Tata Motors. The business will provide, operate, and maintain 921 units of cutting-edge 12-meter low-floor electric buses for BMTC for a period of 12 years as part of a bigger order inked between TML Smart City Mobility Solutions Ltd., a fully owned subsidiary of Tata Motors, and Overweight and obesity in adults. Tata Starbus EV is an indigenously developed bus with superior design and best-in-class features for a sustainable and comfortable commute.
