Ultraviolette Automotive, an electric two-wheeler start-up based in Bengaluru, has announced the launch of its official riding community.

The F77 owners will be a part of the ‘UV Squadron,’ and the company intends to go beyond just community rides. Ultraviolette also recently held its first community ride in Bengaluru to commemorate World Motorcycle Day.

UV Squadron is a dynamic platform for like-minded technology and motorcycle enthusiasts to connect, exchange experiences, and contribute to Ultraviolette’s rapidly expanding electric motorcycle ecosystem, according to the company. It recognizes the importance of a sustainable and forward-thinking mindset while celebrating passionate and progressive individuals.

Price of the Ultraviolette F77 in India

In India, Ultraviolette currently sells the F77 electric motorcycle. This is the company’s flagship product, and it comes in three flavors: standard, recon, and limited edition. Ex-showroom prices range from Rs 3.80 lakh to Rs 5.50 lakh. It is worth noting that only 77 units of the F77 Limited Edition model will be produced, and they are already sold out.

Range and performance of the Ultraviolette F77

The Ultraviolette F77 standard variant has a 27 kW (36.2 bhp) electric motor, while the Recon and Limited Edition variants have 29 kW (38.9 bhp) and 30.2 kW (40.5 bhp) electric motors, respectively. They have 7.1 kWh, 10.3 kWh, and 10.3 kWh battery packs, respectively, and are claimed to have a range of 206 km, 307 km, and 307 km per charge.

Earlier, In January 2023, the company received more funding from its existing investors, TVS Motor Company and GoFrugal Technologies. The company said it will utilize this investment towards the production and commercial launch of the F77 and will roll out the first batch of motorcycles in the first half of 2022
