Kinetic Green Delivers 130 E-Luna Electric Mopeds to BigBasket
In a significant move towards sustainable logistics, Kinetic Green recently completed a notable supply of 130 units of its innovative moped model, the E-Luna, to Safe and Secure Delivery Solutions. These electric mopeds are tailor-made for business applications, such as the delivery of groceries and essential items, aiming to reduce carbon emissions and operational costs for delivery services like BigBasket.
The handover event took place in Chinchwad, Pune, witnessed by Kinetic Green’s partners. Furthermore, Kinetic Green launched the E Luna Fleets program to bolster e-commerce partners in optimizing their delivery operations.

Kinetic E-Luna Moped: A Paradigm of Efficiency and Sustainability
Introduced on February 8th, the E-Luna moped is celebrated for its low operational costs, as meager as 10 paise/km, and its ability to carry payloads up to 150kg. With over 350 dealerships, Kinetic Green provides extensive support through the KG Connect platform, offering real-time GPS tracking and diagnostics, underscoring the growing preference for electric vehicles in the gig economy.

The E-Luna is powered by a 1.2kW motor paired with a 2kWh battery, boasting a range of 100km and a top speed of 50kmph. It features quick charging capabilities, telescopic front forks, dual rear shocks, drum brakes, and spoke wheels for optimal performance.

Inspired by its petrol-powered predecessors, the E-Luna showcases minimalistic design, a round headlight within a square cowl, a split seat, and ample floorboard space for comfort. Available in two models, X1 and X2, and five colors: red, yellow, black, blue, and green, the E-Luna is priced between Rs. 69,990 and 74,990 in India, making it an attractive option for eco-conscious businesses and delivery services.
