Okinawa iPraise+ vs Okinawa PraisePro: Which Electric Scooter Should You Buy?
Okinawa is one of the leading electric two-wheeler manufacturers in India, offering a range of products that cater to different segments and needs of the customers. Among its offerings are the iPraise+ and the PraisePro, two electric scooters that share some common features but also have some distinct differences. In this blog, we will compare these two models and help you decide which one suits you better.
Design and Features

Both the iPraise+ and the PraisePro have a sleek and modern design, with LED lights, a digital speedometer, a USB port, central locking, anti-theft alarm, keyless entry, and find my scooter function. However, the iPraise+ has some additional features that make it more premium and advanced than the PraisePro. These include:
2. A detachable lithium-ion battery that can be easily removed and charged at home or office.

A mobile app connectivity that allows you to access various features such as geofencing, speed alerts, immobilizer, battery health tracker, continuous monitoring, trips, walk assistance (forward and reverse motion), secure parking, tracking and monitoring, maintenance/insurance reminder, battery info, speed alerts, and driver score.

6. The iPraise+ also has a more vibrant color option of glossy red black, while the PraisePro comes in glossy red black and glossy silver black.
Performance and Range
Both the iPraise+ and the PraisePro are powered by a 2500-watt BLDC motor that delivers a peak power of 2700 watts. They both have a top speed of 56 kmph and can climb up to 7 degrees. They both have disc brakes at both ends and E-ABS (Electronic-Assisted Braking System) with regenerative energy. They both have a seat height of 800mm, a ground clearance of 175mm, and a loading capacity of 150kg.
However, the iPraise+ has a bigger battery capacity of 3.6 kWh compared to the PraisePro’s 2.08 kWh. This means that the iPraise+ has a longer range of 137 km/charge in sports mode, while the PraisePro has a range of 81 km/charge in sports mode. The iPraise+ also has a shorter charging time of 4-5 hours compared to the PraisePro’s 2-3 hours.
Price and Warranty
The iPraise+ is priced at Rs. 1,45,965 (ex-showroom), while the PraisePro is priced at Rs. 99,645 (ex-showroom). Both the models are eligible for subsidies under the FAME II scheme, which can reduce the effective price by up to Rs. 26,000 depending on the state.
Both the models come with a warranty of 3 years or 30,000 kms (whichever is earlier) for the motor and the battery. The iPraise+ also offers an optional extended warranty for an additional cost.
Conclusion
The iPraise+ and the PraisePro are both excellent electric scooters that offer a smooth and eco-friendly ride. However, depending on your budget and preferences, you may choose one over the other. If you are looking for a more premium and advanced scooter with more features, longer range, bigger battery capacity, detachable battery, mobile app connectivity, GPS, and RSA service, then you may opt for the iPraise+. If you are looking for a more affordable and basic scooter with decent performance, range, battery capacity, and features, then you may opt for the PraisePro.
