Ultraviolette Automotive has launched the X-47 Venom electric motorcycle in India at an introductory price of ₹2.65 lakh (ex-showroom). The new electric motorcycle is the first model built on the company’s VX-100 100V platform, bringing improvements in battery technology, performance, charging capabilities and rider safety. Bookings opened on October 22, 2026, with deliveries scheduled to begin in November 2026.

The introductory pricing is applicable to the first 5,000 customers. Depending on the variant, battery capacity and charger configuration, prices extend up to ₹4.12 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).

The Ultraviolette X-47 Venom will be available with two battery options: a 7.5kWh battery pack and a larger 11kWh SRB-11 battery pack. The entry-level variant offers a claimed Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) range of 227km, while the larger battery configuration delivers up to 343km on a single charge.

The motorcycle is powered by a 30kW electric motor producing 550Nm of wheel torque. According to the company, the X-47 Venom can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 5.9 seconds and achieve a top speed of 155kmph.

The new VX-100 platform incorporates improvements to the battery pack, motor and motor controller. Ultraviolette claims that the updated battery technology offers higher energy density and improved thermal management, helping reduce weight while supporting consistent performance.

The motorcycle weighs 180kg in its entry-level configuration, making it lighter than the previous X-47 generation.

Charging capability is another key highlight of the new electric motorcycle. The X-47 Venom supports DC fast charging at up to 12kW and features a 1.6kW onboard charger on compatible configurations. These capabilities are designed to improve charging flexibility for riders using the motorcycle for daily commuting and longer journeys.

The new VX-100 architecture also introduces improvements in regenerative braking and thermal performance. These upgrades aim to support more efficient energy use and sustained power delivery during demanding riding conditions.

The Ultraviolette X-47 Venom features a seven-inch TFT touchscreen display with connected functions and integrated navigation. Other highlights include cruise control, front and rear dashcams, and camera-assisted parking support.

The motorcycle also incorporates the company’s UV Hypersense radar-based rider assistance system. Using rear radar technology, the system supports features such as blind-spot monitoring, lane-change assistance, overtake alerts and rear-collision warnings.

Additional connected functions through VIOLETTE A.I. include movement alerts, fall detection, towing alerts, crash notifications and remote vehicle lockdown.

These technologies strengthen the motorcycle’s focus on combining electric performance with enhanced rider awareness and convenience.

The X-47 Venom range includes four variants: X-47 Venom, X-47 Venom+, X-47 Venom Recon and X-47 Venom Recon+. Introductory prices start at ₹2.65 lakh and reach ₹4.12 lakh, depending on the configuration.

The company has stated that introductory prices apply to the first 5,000 buyers, after which prices will increase by ₹35,000 across the variants.

With its extended claimed range, high-performance electric motor, fast-charging capability and radar-based safety technology, the Ultraviolette X-47 Venom strengthens the company’s presence in India’s premium electric motorcycle segment. Its market reception will help indicate consumer demand for electric motorcycles that combine performance, advanced technology and everyday usability.
