Bengaluru-based electric mobility startup E3 Electric.Ai has officially started production of its new electric scooter, the E3 TRION, at its manufacturing facility in Hyderabad. The company has announced that customer deliveries will begin in batches from October 7, 2026, marking an important milestone as the startup moves from product development and testing to commercial deliveries.
The E3 TRION is being positioned as an intelligent electric scooter designed for Indian riding conditions. The company plans to offer the model in three variants – C1, C1X and C2– targeting different customer requirements, including young riders, families and business users. The variants will be introduced in phases and will be available in six colour options: Nova Blue, Teal Blue, Graphite Grey, Misty Green, Solar Red and Luna White.
E3 TRION Completes More Than 550 Validation Tests
Before entering production, E3 Electric.Ai subjected the TRION to an extensive testing and validation programme. According to the company, the electric scooter completed more than 550 Design Validation Plan (DVP) tests, covering important areas such as reliability, safety, durability, power performance and range.
The testing programme included chassis dynamometer power testing, range evaluation and brake-pressure sensor validation. E3 Electric.Ai also conducted accelerated durability testing using a Cam Drum Test Rig with a 205 kg payload, aimed at assessing the scooter’s ability to withstand demanding usage conditions.
The company further tested the TRION in wet and challenging conditions. Water-wading tests were carried out at depths between 100 mm and 300 mm at different speeds, along with heavy rainstorm and water-wash testing.
The scooter was also evaluated in real-world riding conditions through a 260-km mixed-terrain journey between Bengaluru and Hogenakkal. The route included mountain roads, sharp bends, gradients and rough surfaces, allowing E3 Electric.Ai to assess the scooter beyond controlled testing environments.
First 100 Customers to Receive Extended Warranty
As part of its initial customer programme, E3 Electric.Ai will create a founding-owner community comprising its first 100 customers. These customers will receive additional ownership benefits, including an 8Y100K+ extended warranty covering the battery and key scooter components for eight years or 1 lakh kilometres, whichever comes first.
The first 100 buyers will also receive one year of E3 Wingman roadside assistance. The company has valued the combined benefits at ₹6,500 for the C1 with its 2.3 kWh battery and ₹8,500 for the C1X and C2 versions equipped with 3 kWh batteries, subject to applicable terms and conditions.

Commenting on the production milestone, Sanjeev P., Founder and CEO of E3 Electric.Ai, said the company’s focus has been on developing an intelligent and robust electric scooter engineered for real-world conditions.
With production now underway at its Hyderabad facility and deliveries beginning in batches, the E3 TRION marks E3 Electric.Ai’s transition into the next phase of its electric mobility journey. The development also highlights the growing presence of Indian EV startups focusing on locally tested electric two-wheelers designed for varied road and weather conditions across the country.
