Bondada Engineering, through its subsidiary Atpole Technologies and in partnership with Thuraga Motors, has unveiled the T1 electric two-wheeler. Priced at ₹59,999, the vehicle will target individual buyers, small businesses, delivery partners and fleet operators, with pre-bookings now open ahead of its planned November 2026 launch.

Bondada Group has announced its entry into India’s electric vehicle (EV) market through a partnership between Atpole Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Bondada Engineering Limited, and Hyderabad-based startup Thuraga Motors.

The companies introduced their upcoming T1 electric two-wheeler during a curtain-raiser event held on the occasion of Dussehra. The event also marked the launch of a dedicated digital platform where prospective customers can explore the vehicle and register their interest through pre-bookings.

The T1 has been developed for everyday transportation and commercial applications, with a focus on affordability, utility and practical mobility requirements. The companies aim to serve individual consumers as well as businesses seeking economical electric transportation solutions.

The initial commercial rollout is planned for November 2026, with availability expected to begin in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

The T1 is designed to support daily commuting, goods transportation and delivery operations. Its specifications reflect an emphasis on carrying capacity and usability across different working environments.

The electric two-wheeler features a 600W brushless DC (BLDC) hub motor paired with a 51.1V, 30Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. According to the company, the vehicle offers a claimed idle range of 86 km per charge and can be fully charged in approximately three hours.

Both the motor and battery carry IP67 protection ratings, while the controller is rated IP65.

The T1 measures 1,810 mm in length, 695 mm in width and 1,065 mm in height. It has a kerb weight of 65–70 kg, ground clearance of 167 mm and a maximum payload capacity of 200 kg.

Additional features include drum brakes, tubeless tyres, telescopic front suspension and dual rear suspension. These specifications position the vehicle towards users looking for a lightweight electric two-wheeler for everyday mobility and utility-focused applications.

The Bondada T1 electric two-wheeler is priced at ₹59,999, inclusive of GST. Customers will be able to choose between blue and green colour options, while optional accessory packages will also be offered.

Pre-bookings are currently open through the company’s dedicated website. Commercial availability is scheduled for November 2026, beginning with selected southern Indian markets.

The company has not indicated a nationwide rollout timeline in its initial announcement.

According to Bondada Group, the partnership aims to develop electric mobility solutions suited to Indian road conditions and the practical requirements of domestic consumers and commercial users.

The initiative also expands Bondada Engineering’s activities into the electric mobility segment. The company already operates across infrastructure and clean energy-related sectors, including solar energy, telecommunications and electric motor and controller components.

With the T1, Bondada Group and Thuraga Motors are entering a competitive electric two-wheeler market where affordability, operating costs, payload capacity and charging convenience remain important considerations for buyers.

The vehicle’s market performance will depend on its real-world range, reliability, after-sales support and suitability for daily commercial operations as it enters its first markets.
