Gurugram, 3 November 2026: Zypp Electric, India’s leading tech-enabled EV Rental platform, has announced the nationwide rollout of its Franchise Partner Program. The initiative opens Zypp’s commercial electric mobility ecosystem to investors, auto dealers, distributors, quick-commerce franchise operators, and regional entrepreneurs, creating a scalable model to accelerate last-mile fleet electrification across India. The program bridges Zypp’s proprietary technology stack, national enterprise client demand, and structured maintenance protocols with the local market acumen and capital of regional business owners.

A central economic pillar of the franchise offering is Zypp’s operational benchmark of 90-95% fleet utilisation. Driven by FleetEase.ai—Zypp’s proprietary fleet operating system the platform leverages real-time IoT telematics, predictive battery diagnostics, smart maintenance alerts, and automated driver dispatch to sustain continuous uptime, ensuring partner assets remain income-generating and protected against idle capacity.

Operating an active fleet of 31,000+ electric two-wheelers across 8 cities, including franchise partners across Jaipur, Rohtak, Hyderabad and Gurgaon. By integrating franchise partners into its existing logistics ecosystem, Zypp enables operators to deploy commercial two-wheelers with immediate access to contracted delivery volume across quick-commerce, hyperlocal delivery, and e-commerce platforms.

Speaking on the launch of the franchise model, Akash Gupta, Co-Founder & CEO, Zypp Electric, said: “Over the past few years, having deployed more than 31,000 electric vehicles and powered over 100 million deliveries, we have proven that sustainable last-mile logistics at scale requires an uncompromising focus on unit economics, asset uptime, and deep technology integration. Within the launch of this model, in last 45 days, we have successfully opened 4 franchise models and are getting huge number of requests to open franchise in several other markets. This way, we can catchup our EV expansion in 100+ markets where quick commerce and food delivery are already thriving. As the explosive growth of quick commerce and on-demand delivery grows beyond metro markets into high-density regional cities, the commercial need for high-reliability EV fleets is accelerating exponentially.”

Our franchise model serves as a collaborative growth engine toward our broader vision of a Gig Mobility Operating System. By arming local business owners and quick-commerce operators with FleetEase.ai, established enterprise client demand, and our benchmark 90-95% fleet utilisation, we are enabling them to run high-uptime, profitable mobility businesses from Day 1. Crucially, this model allows us to decentralise clean miles while extending flexible, technology-enabled livelihoods to thousands of new gig workers across emerging India.”

Key Pillars of the Zypp Franchise Ecosystem:

  • Immediate Enterprise Demand & Solid Utilisation: Franchise partners gain direct access to Zypp’s active commercial delivery network across leading quick-commerce, hyperlocal grocery, e-commerce, and food delivery platforms, driving immediate revenue and high asset productivity.
  • Proprietary Technology via FleetEase.ai: Partners receive full deployment of Zypp’s fleet operating system, enabling real-time IoT tracking, cloud-based fleet monitoring, algorithmic rider-vehicle allocation, and predictive battery diagnostics.
  • Turnkey Maintenance & Uptime Support: Dedicated guidance on routine servicing workflows, technician training, charging infrastructure planning, and OEM spare-parts access to maintain fleet road-readiness and maximise vehicle lifecycles.
  • Strategic Tier 2 & Tier 3 Footprint: Next phase of priority rollout into emerging commercial clusters—including Lucknow, Surat, Indore, Bhopal, Vijayawada, Kochi, Nagpur, Visakhapatnam —where surging consumer demand for rapid delivery is outpacing legacy fleet infrastructure.

Grassroots Livelihood Generation: Building on Zypp’s impact of empowering over 2.8 lakh gig workers, the franchise framework creates distributed, green livelihoods for delivery executives, fleet coordinators, depot managers, and maintenance technicians in non-metro regions, further propelling income generation for more gig workers in these cities.
