Mahindra Signs MoU with Adani Total Energies for Access to EV Charging Infrastructure

Mahindra & Mahindra, a frontrunner in the production of SUVs and electric vehicles, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Adani Total Energies E-Mobility (ATEL), a subsidiary fully owned by Adani Total Gas.

This partnership marks a significant stride toward fostering a more eco-friendly and sustainable future, in harmony with India’s rigorous climate change initiatives.

The MoU lays forth a plan for building a nationwide network of EV charging stations. Additionally, as part of the agreement, e-mobility solutions covering discovery, availability, navigation, and transactions will be rolled out to give users easy access to the charging network. Thanks to this partnership, owners of Mahindra EVs will find it more easier and more convenient to charge their electric vehicles thanks to the availability of over 1,100 chargers on the Bluesense+ app for Mahindra XUV400 users.

“This alliance is a cornerstone in enhancing the EV charging infrastructure, ensuring our customers enjoy seamless access to charging network and digital integration for an unparalleled EV experience. In line with our commitment to enhance customer experience with partner network, we are actively on-boarding multiple partners to broaden the EV ecosystem, driving the adoption of electric vehicles.”

Veejay Nakra, President – Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra said.

“The collaboration with M&M for the charging infrastructure will bolster the confidence of customers to embrace EV technology as part of the energy transition. Together, such steps will help reduce carbon emissions, and help India meet its climate action goals.”

Suresh P Manglani, Executive Director & CEO, Adani Total Gas said.

This collaboration between Mahindra and ATEL is evidence of the teamwork needed to decarbonize transportation and transition to an electric and sustainable future, in keeping with COP 26 obligations.
