Electric scooters are becoming more popular and affordable in India, thanks to the government’s initiatives and incentives for promoting green mobility. Two of the most promising electric scooters in the market are the Bounce Infinity E1 and the Bajaj Chetak. Both of them offer attractive features, performance, and design, but which one is better for you? Let’s compare them on various aspects and find out.

Price

The price is one of the most important factors for any buyer, especially when it comes to electric vehicles.

Range and Charging

The range and charging time are two of the most crucial aspects of any electric vehicle, as they determine how far and how long you can ride without worrying about running out of battery.

The Bounce Infinity E1 claims to offer a range of 85 km per charge, while the Bajaj Chetak claims to offer a range of 90 km per charge in Eco mode and 80 km per charge in Sport mode

Both of them have similar battery capacities of around 2 kWh, but the Bounce Infinity E1 has a slightly lower charging time of 4 hours compared to the Bajaj Chetak’s 5 hours

However, the Bajaj Chetak also offers a fast charging option that can charge up to 25% in just 0.75 hours.

Performance and Features

The performance and features of an electric scooter are also important factors that affect the riding experience and convenience of the user.

The Bounce Infinity E1 has a motor power of 1500 W and a peak torque of 85 Nm, while the Bajaj Chetak has a motor power of 4200 W and a peak torque of 16.2 Nm at 1400 rpm.

Both scooters have disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear, along with combi braking systems for better safety. They also have digital instrument consoles that display various information such as speed, battery level, range, trip meter, odometer, clock, etc..

However, the Bajaj Chetak has some additional features that make it more advanced and smart than the Bounce Infinity E1. For instance, the Bajaj Chetak has Bluetooth connectivity, internet connectivity, mobile application, geo-fencing, touch-sensitive switches, glove box with USB charging port, LED lights, etc..

The Bounce Infinity E1 also has some unique features such as EBS (electronic braking system), drag mode (for pushing the scooter manually), drive modes (power and eco), location tracking, tow alert, etc.

Design and Colours

The design and colours of an electric scooter are also important aspects that affect the aesthetic appeal and personal preference of the buyer.

The Bounce Infinity E1 has a sleek and modern design with sharp lines and curves. It has a sporty look with a dual-tone colour scheme. It is available in five colours: comet gray, desat silver, pearl white, sparkle black, and sporty red.

The Bajaj Chetak has a retro and classic design with smooth contours and curves. It has a premium look with a metallic finish and chrome accents. It is available in three colours: indigo metallic (blue), matte coarse grey (grey), and satin black (black).

Conclusion

The Bounce Infinity E1 and the Bajaj Chetak are both excellent electric scooters that offer different benefits to different buyers. The Bounce Infinity E1 is more suitable for those who want an affordable, efficient, and practical electric scooter with decent performance and features. The Bajaj Chetak is more suitable for those who want a premium, powerful, and smart electric scooter with superior performance and features. Ultimately, the choice depends on your budget, preference, and requirement.
