chargeMOD Collaborates with A Plus Charge to Propel EV Charging Infrastructure
Kerala’s energy tech startup, chargeMOD, has partnered with Guwahati-based A Plus Charge to launch over 1,000 advanced EV charging stations throughout North East India. This partnership is strategically designed to enhance the adoption of electric vehicles and promote sustainability in the area.
Announced in Kochi, this collaboration marks a major step in expanding the EV infrastructure in North East India. The alliance leverages chargeMOD’s expertise in rolling out EV charging networks with A Plus Charge’s deep understanding of the local market dynamics. The goal is to increase the accessibility of EV charging facilities and boost the region’s shift towards electric mobility.
M. Ramanunni, CEO and Co-Founder of chargeMOD, stressed the critical role of this partnership in broadening the EV infrastructure. He highlighted the initiative’s capacity to foster a cleaner, sustainable transportation landscape in North East India by making EV charging solutions more widespread and user-friendly.

chargeMOD, which began under the Kerala Startup Mission, is a prominent figure in the Indian EV charging sector, with a network that includes over 2,300 stations across ten states. This new venture with A Plus Charge significantly broadens their reach, particularly in the North East.
A Plus Charge, part of AlternatEV Solutions Private Limited, is leading the charge in Assam’s transition to electric mobility.
