Glida Collaborates with Statiq to Enhance Access to EV Charging Stations

Statiq and Glida, previously known as Fortum Charge & Drive India, have announced a collaboration aimed at enhancing the electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across India. This partnership ensures that all of Glida’s public chargers can now be accessed via the Statiq app, thereby providing users with increased visibility and accessibility to a comprehensive charging network.

This initiative is set to bridge the gap between Statiq and Glida’s charging stations, offering a unified solution that reduces the need for multiple applications for EV charging services.

Moreover, Glida’s chargers will remain accessible through its own app and the Charge-Thru weblink, a user-friendly solution designed to simplify the EV charging process.

“This partnership is a pivotal step in our mission to create an extensive and user-friendly EV charging ecosystem in the country. By integrating Glida’s chargers into the Statiq app, we are enhancing convenience and affability for EV users. This partnership underscores our shared commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer-centric solutions. By combining our strengths, we aim to create a seamless charging experience for EV owners and play a pivotal role in shaping India’s sustainable transportation ecosystem.”

Raghav Arora, Co-Founder & CTO, Statiq said.

Aligned with Statiq’s overarching goal, the firm is engaging in strategic alliances with various charge point operators to ensure that both new and existing EV users have access to a dependable charging infrastructure. This initiative will allow for the use of Statiq Credits across all associated CPOs, simplifying the charging process for users.

“This unique collaboration opens newer avenues for users to seamlessly discover, access and conveniently experience charging on GLIDA’s all-India network facilitated through the Statiq App as well besides its own App and App agnostic Charge-Thru. This move allows us to leverage our expertise in green mobility solutions to build a robust and sustainable EV charging infrastructure aligned with the evolving customer needs.”

Awadhesh Kumar Jha, Executive Director, Glida said.

This strategic partnership signifies a major advancement in the push towards a sustainable transportation ecosystem in India. With over 850 Glida charging points becoming accessible via various platforms, including the Statiq app, this alliance addresses a critical user concern and is expected to catalyze the broader adoption of EVs, underscoring the critical role of cooperation in promoting sustainable mobility solutions.
