JK Tyre and EKA Mobility Partner to Transform EV Fleet Management
In a move set to revolutionize the electric vehicle (EV) industry, JK Tyre & Industries has announced a strategic partnership with EKA Mobility, a key player in the electric mobility sector. This collaboration, supported by equity partners Mitsui Co., Ltd. (Japan) and VDL Groep (Netherlands), highlights JK Tyre’s leadership in delivering “Connected Mobility Solutions,” an advanced cloud-based tyre monitoring system.
The agreement was formalized in Pune with the attendance of Mr. Sanjeev Sharma, AVP, Fleet Management & Mobility Solutions at JK Tyre, and Mr. Vijaykumar Yelne, President of EKA Mobility. Through this partnership, JK Tyre will equip EKA’s fleet with its next-generation EV tyres featuring Connected Treel Sensors, allowing for real-time monitoring and comprehensive tyre management.
