Tata Power Spearheads E-Mobility Transformation in Ayodhya with Strategic Installation of Charging Stations

Tata Power, a prominent figure in the field of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, has partnered with the Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA) to enhance Ayodhya’s EV infrastructure by setting up charging stations across the city. The collaboration is aimed at boosting the adoption of EVs and promoting eco-friendly transport options.

The inauguration of these charging stations took place at the Collectorate Office MLCP Parking in Ayodhya, witnessed by notable figures including Mr Gaurav Dayal, Commissioner of Ayodhya, and Mr Ashwini Pandey, Vice Chairman of ADA.

Tata Power representatives, such as Mr Deepesh Nanda, CEO & MD of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, Mr Virendra Goyal, Head of Business Development (EV), and Mr Ramkrishna Singh, Head of Business Operations (EV), were also in attendance.

A significant highlight of the event was the introduction of four electric vehicles that will serve major cities in the vicinity, thereby linking Ayodhya to important nearby urban centres via essential routes, including Ayodhya to Lucknow (NH27), Ayodhya to Raebarelli (NH330), Ayodhya to Prayagraj (NH330), and Ayodhya to Gorakhpur (NH27), through the strategic placement of EV charging facilities.

This endeavour is poised to revolutionize the way residents and visitors travel, encouraging the use of electric vehicles and sustainable transport modes, especially among the pilgrims and tourists frequenting this sacred city.

“The realization of the EV charging stations project with the Ayodhya Development Authority reflects our dedication to fostering a more sustainable future. These stations are a testament to innovation and environmental responsibility, steering our country towards achieving Net Zero emissions. In unison, we are crafting a sustainable future for the benefit of everyone.”

“Working together with Tata Power symbolizes our mutual commitment to creating a cleaner, more sustainable Ayodhya. These new charging facilities not only upgrade our city’s infrastructure but also signal the dawn of a new era in eco-awareness and development.”

Mr Deepesh Nanda remarked on the occasion.
