Joy e-bike Celebrates Major Achievement: Surpasses Sales of 100,000 E2W
Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd. (WIML), renowned for its electric vehicle manufacturing under the brand ‘Joy e-bike’ in India, recently achieved a significant landmark by selling over 100,000 electric two-wheelers. This remarkable feat was celebrated with the rollout of the 100,000th electric two-wheeler, named Mihos, from its advanced manufacturing facility in Vadodara.
The company’s journey began in 2016 when it was initially known as WW Solutions (Wardwizard Solutions), before rebranding to WIML in 2019. It initially entered the mobility market with electric bicycles, marking its presence as India’s first electric vehicle company to be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). In 2018, WIML expanded its product line with the launch of the Butterfly, its first Low-Speed Electric Scooter. On February 21, 2024, WIML will boast a diverse portfolio of 10 models, including both high-speed and low-speed electric two-wheelers, supported by a robust network of over 750 touchpoints across India.
To commemorate this significant sales milestone, WIML has launched a series of exclusive offers for its customers, which include special benefits and free insurance*, available at all authorized Joy e-bike dealerships nationwide until March 31, 2024.
Mr. Yatin Gupte, Chairman & Managing Director of Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd., expressed his gratitude towards customers and stakeholders for their relentless support, which has positioned the company as a leading brand in India’s electric two-wheeler market. He highlighted that crossing the 100,000 sales milestone not only reflects the quality and diversity of their product range but also the company’s commitment to sustainability and customer satisfaction. Gupte’s vision for the future includes reaching the next milestone of 200,000 sales by 2026, emphasizing continuous innovation and the drive towards a more sustainable mobility landscape.
Wardwizard’s dedication to innovation was also evident at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, where they unveiled a hydrogen-powered electric two-wheeler concept, alongside showcasing their existing lineup of high and low-speed electric two-wheelers and the electric three-wheeler, known as ‘Joy e-rik’. This move further solidifies WIML’s role in pushing the boundaries of electric mobility and contributing to a greener, more sustainable future.
