Ampere Electric Introduces its Ampere Nexus E-Scooter, Priced at Rs 1.10 Lakh
Greaves Electric Mobility’s subsidiary Ampere has introduced the Ampere Nexus, its newest electric flagship scooter. Based on the Nxg concept that was shown at the Auto Expo last year, this model has undergone thorough testing, which included an amazing cross-country drive from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
The Ampere Nexus has now been prepared for launch following the successful completion of this lengthy journey. This scooter is prepared to launch on the market with an introductory price of Rs. 1,09,900 lakh. The Nexus ST and Nexus EX are the two versions that will be offered. Nexus ST is priced at Rs. 119,900, while Nexus EX is available for Rs. 1,09,900 upon launch. The initial deal will terminate when these costs increase by Rs 10,000.
Sleek Design and Advanced Safety Features
The Ampere Nexus showcases a sleek and futuristic design coupled with premium aesthetics. Its multi-patented twin suspension hybrid swingarm ensures optimal transmission and unrivaled confidence on the road. Noteworthy features include the brightest LED headlight and tail light, complemented by LED indicators mounted on the apron.

Bookings for the Nexus Electric scooter are now open for Rs 9,999, with deliveries set to commence at the end of May.
Enhanced Rider Experience and Safety
The Ampere Nexus boasts several standout features aimed at elevating the rider’s experience and ensuring safety on the road. With a diamond-cut headlamp providing maximum brightness and a chassis four times stronger than its predecessors, rider safety is paramount. It introduces a front disc brake setup, a first for Ampere scooters, along with a rear drum brake for reliable stopping power. The scooter’s telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers suspension setup promise a smooth and comfortable ride.
Features
Depending on the variant, riders can enjoy a 7-inch TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation in the ST variant, or a 6.2-inch LCD instrument console in the EX variant. Three display modes – Night Mode, Limp Home, and Day Mode screen – cater to different lighting conditions and preferences.
Vibrant Color Options
The Ampere Nexus offers four attractive color options inspired by the vibrant beauty of India: Zanskar Aqua, Lunar White, Steel Grey, and Indian Red.
Designed and manufactured entirely in India, the Ampere Nexus combines impressive features with indigenous craftsmanship. Its completion of a rigorous 10,000 km journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari underscores its durability and performance capabilities. Positioned to rival established models like the Bajaj Chetak and TVS iQube, the Ampere Nexus is poised to make a significant impact in the dynamic EV market.
