It comes fitted with two sets of battery packs—a 45kWh unit and a 55kWh one. This comes feature-loaded with level-2 ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and much more. In compact electric SUVs in India, the same will rival the likes of the MG ZS EV.
4. BYD ATTO 3
BYD India launched a new variant of the Atto 3 electric SUV earlier this year. However, with the introduction of this new trim, the EV now has an introductory price that ranges just under ₹25 lakh. The new variant of the electric SUV comes fitted with a smaller 49.92 kWh battery pack compared to the higher variants. The entry Dynamic trim being offered will give around 468 km of range (ARAI certified).
3. Tata Nexon EV

The electric SUV from Tata Motors’ stable was launched last year for a price range of ₹14.49-₹19.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Furthermore, it comes with two different battery pack options—a 30 kWh pack and a 40.5 kWh pack. It claims a single-charge range of up to 465 kms in the long-range variant with the bigger battery. Long-range Nexon EV gives out 142 bhp of power and 215 Nm of peak torque.

The MG ZS EV will also come with one of the highest ranges in an EV priced below ₹25 lakh, and it is JSW MG Motor India’s first all-electric car in India. It was in January this year that the updated version of the XUV400 electric SUV from Mahindra was launched in India at a starting price of ₹15.49 lakh, ex-showroom. Moreover, the car was offered with two choices of battery size—34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh, respectively. The one with big capacity claimed a range of up to 456 km on a single charge, while the range reduced to around 375 km.
