Mumbai, India – Greenie Energy, a pioneering startup in the EV charging technology space, has secured $600,000 in seed funding to accelerate its mission of revolutionizing EV charging infrastructure across India. The funding round was led by Rajesh Advani, Managing Director of Sun-N-Sand Hotels, with participation from AIC Pinnacle Entrepreneurship Forum, Ashwin Ramesh, and Rajaram Ajgaonkar.

Greenie Energy’s innovative approach focuses on providing cost-effective and convenient EV charging solutions for mass-scale deployment. The company’s flagship product transforms standard electrical sockets into smart EV charging points, managed seamlessly through a dedicated mobile application. This technology empowers diverse settings, including residential complexes, commercial buildings, and public parking spaces, to become EV-friendly.

With the funding, Greenie Energy aims to significantly expand its operations and achieve its ambitious goal of deploying over 5,000 EV charging points by the end of 2025. This expansion will cater to the increasing demand for EV charging infrastructure in India’s major cities and beyond.
