Biliti Electric Begins Building Electric Three-Wheeler Production Plant in Hyderabad

Biliti Electric, a pioneering firm headquartered in California, has embarked on an ambitious project to construct a new production facility in Velimela, Hyderabad, Telangana. This state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to the manufacturing of electric three-wheelers and the production of advanced lithium-ion (Li-Ion) battery packs. The initiation of this facility marks a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to enhancing sustainable mobility solutions on a global scale. 

With an investment exceeding INR 400 crore, this 13-acre manufacturing hub aims to bolster the production of electric three-wheelers, targeting a production capacity of 2,000 units per month. This venture is not just a testament to Biliti Electric’s growth strategy but also a beacon of economic development for the region, promising to generate over 10,000 job opportunities.

The inauguration of the facility was graced by the presence of Jennifer Larson, the Consul General of the USA in Hyderabad, symbolizing the importance of this project in strengthening economic ties and promoting green technology initiatives between India and the United States. 

Biliti Electric’s operational philosophy is rooted in the development of scalable battery-swapping networks that address the critical needs of urban mobility and energy storage. The company’s global footprint spans 15 countries across five continents, reflecting its commitment to reshaping last-mile mobility solutions worldwide.
