Energica and Nimbus Collaborate to Electrify the Classic Model C

Energica Inside, a part of Energica Motor Company that focuses on new projects, has made a big deal with Nimbus Motorcycles to update the old Nimbus Model C motorcycle with electric power. This partnership is a big moment for electric vehicles because it brings together Energica Inside’s advanced technology skills with the classic Danish motorcycle brand, Nimbus.

Nimbus is a famous motorcycle maker from Denmark that made bikes from 1919 to 1960. They are known for the iconic Model C. Now, they want to make this classic motorcycle electric, keeping its famous design but making it more environmentally friendly.

Carlo Iacovini, General Manager of Energica Inside, is excited about working with Nimbus. He said Energica Inside wants to help Nimbus make their motorcycles electric using their top electric vehicle (EV) technology and expertise. They plan to make the Nimbus Model C electric without changing its classic look.

The team from Energica Inside checked everything carefully to ensure they could properly add electric power to the Model C. This effort shows Energica Inside’s commitment to using its technology in different areas like farming, boats, planes, racing, and city travel.

Iacovini talked about how important new technology is for making vehicles that don’t pollute, and Energica Inside wants to lead the way in making transportation cleaner. Nimbus Motorcycles is also happy about the partnership, with their chairman, Ib Mogensen, saying it’s great to mix the classic Danish motorcycle design with Energica’s excellent electric technology.

This partnership is more than just a business deal. It’s about respecting Nimbus motorcycles’ long history while looking forward to a future where classic motorcycles can be environmentally friendly. By making the Nimbus Model C electric, they’re taking a big step towards a future where old and new technology work together for a cleaner world.
