ETO Motors Plans to Deploy 500 Electric Three-Wheelers in Uttar Pradesh

ETO Motors announced in a statement on Monday that it had won an order to deploy 500 electric three-wheelers in Uttar Pradesh, with a particular emphasis on Ayodhya. The company will be responsible for managing and deploying the electric three-wheelers in Lucknow, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Agra, Mathura, and Gorakhpur, according to the Letter of Award (LoA) granted by the Uttar Pradesh government.

Notably, ETO Motors has been granted permission to begin the deployment with a special focus on Ayodhya, in conjunction with the opening of the Ram Temple, the statement added.

According to the firm, the strategic launch at Ayodhya is intended to make it easier for devotees to visit the holy place and is the first step towards integrating electric mobility into religious and cultural events.

“Our e-three-wheelers are not just vehicles but carriers of change, driving economic growth and social empowerment while upholding our commitment to environmental stewardship,”

ETO Motors Director Karthik S Ponnapula said.

According to a statement from ETO Motors, the company is collaborating with Uber to develop an effective and sustainable electric mobility solution for urban transportation. The partnership aims to transform urban transportation by merging the company’s electric vehicle technology expertise with Uber’s vast network and cutting-edge ride-sharing platform.

“We are thrilled to partner with ETO Motors to bring EV autorickshaws to the temple city of Ayodhya. As the city gears up to become one of the popular tourist destinations, we are committed to making the commute of tourists and locals hassle-free,”
