In keeping with this, Hindustan Zinc claims that its green initiatives, such as the introduction of electric vehicles, highlight its authorized SBTi pledge to cut 50% of absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions and another 25% of absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by FY2030 from the base year FY2020 to reach net-zero emissions throughout the value chain by FY2050.
