Three-wheelers, both passenger and cargo, stand to benefit from the Telangana government’s announcement that all EVs will be 100% exempt from road tax and registration fees through December 2026. The market potential for sustainable last-mile transportation is evident: Telangana has already recorded over 259,000 EV registrations, and new permits for 20,000 electric autorickshaws have been issued in Hyderabad.
