3W EV Terra Motors Expands to Hyderabad – Telangana, Offers L5 E-Auto with 200km Range and Zero Down Payment Finance, Seeks Distributors

Terra Motors, a Japanese EV manufacturer, is expanding its global footprint with the Kyoro electric three-wheeler, priced at Rs. 3.65 lakhs on-road. The Kyoro features an IP67-rated motor, delivers a top speed of 55 km/h, and offers a 200 km range on a single charge, making it well-suited for Indian roads. With a strategic focus on Telangana under the state’s EV policy, Terra is leveraging this region as a key hub in its broader expansion across India, Southeast Asia, and Pakistan, complementing its existing presence in Indonesia, Japan, and Thailand. This move underscores Terra Motors’ commitment to scaling its electric mobility solutions nationwide and globally.

Three-wheelers, both passenger and cargo, stand to benefit from the Telangana government’s announcement that all EVs will be 100% exempt from road tax and registration fees through December 2026. The market potential for sustainable last-mile transportation is evident: Telangana has already recorded over 259,000 EV registrations, and new permits for 20,000 electric autorickshaws have been issued in Hyderabad. Terra’s new e-auto delivers reliable performance for diverse road conditions, with a top speed of over 55 km/h, an extended range of up to 200 km per charge, and an 11.7 kWh battery. Its 2-speed gearbox allows easy hill climbing with up to 22% gradeability and smooth yet quick acceleration. With a 4-hour charging time and low operating costs, it combines compact design with powerful performance. Moreover it offers  5-year warranty, and zero down payment financing options for customers.

“Kyoro is a durable and economical electric vehicle, designed for Indian roads and drivers, and aligns perfectly with Telangana’s green mobility goals. This policy strengthens the financial incentives and simplifies registration, making it an ideal time for dealers to join the EV shift,” said Mr. Go Suzuki, Managing Director, Terra Motors.

Terra has already partnered with leading EV distributors in northern India, where its vehicles have proven popular and profitable. Building on this success, the company is now offering exclusive dealership territories across Hyderabad and other districts, aiming to establish Telangana as a priority EV hub.

With strong government support and comprehensive EV policies, Terra is confident of significant growth in the region. Its electric three-wheelers, with proven performance and low running costs, provide dealers with a market-ready and profitable product. Early movers will benefit from Terra’s comprehensive supportensuring a competitive advantage as adoption accelerates.

“As Telangana accelerates EV adoption, Kyoro offers a unique opportunity for dealers to enter a rapidly growing market. With Terra’s Japanese heritage and commitment to India, we see our dealer partners as long-term collaborators in building a sustainable and profitable business. At Terra, we go beyond products, we provide a platform where dealers can share feedback directly with management. Partnership is not just about sharing profits, but about solving challenges together and creating lasting growth opportunities,” added Mr. Suzuki.
