
Samsung’s Digital Car Key Lets Mahindra EV Owners Securely Share Access via App; Samsung Wallet Integrates Keys, Payments & IDs in One Safe, Smart Platform
In a move that blends cutting-edge technology with sustainable mobility, Samsung India has announced a partnership with Mahindra Electric Automobile to introduce digital car key compatibility for the upcoming Mahindra Electric Origin SUV range.
The collaboration enables users to lock, unlock, and start their Mahindra Electric Origin SUVs using Samsung Galaxy smartphones, offering keyless convenience and enhanced security.

The digital key will be available within Samsung Wallet, eliminating the need for a  physical key. - Secure Key Sharing:
Users can share the digital key securely with family or friends for a limited period, managing permissions directly through the app. - Enhanced Security:
Backed by Samsung Knox, a defence-grade security platform, the feature ensures biometric and PIN-based authentication for safe access. - Remote Protection:
If a device is lost or stolen, users can remotely lock or delete data, including the car key, via Samsung Find. - Unified Digital Experience:
Samsung Wallet also allows users to store and manage digital keys, payment methods, and IDs in one secure interface.
