BLive Introduces EV rental platform for last-mile delivery-operators
BLive’s e-mobility platform is revolutionizing the delivery industry with the launch of the BLive EZY EV Rental Program, designed specifically for last-mile mobility partners. This initiative aims to bridge the financial gaps that delivery riders often face when transitioning to electric vehicles (EVs).
Many delivery riders struggle with financial hurdles, particularly when applying for loans due to the necessity of maintaining a high CIBIL score. The BLive EZY EV Rental Program addresses this issue by making the switch to electric vehicles more accessible with affordable pricing and flexible terms. With rental rates starting as low as Rs 1500 per week, delivery partners can seamlessly integrate EVs into their operations.
The AI-enabled platform connects the entire EV ecosystem, including manufacturers, demand generation partners like Zomato and Swiggy, leading finance and charging solution providers, and the expanding gig worker community. By supporting fleet operators as franchisee partners, BLive enables them to create, deploy, and manage fleets efficiently through comprehensive fleet management solutions, thus promoting the adoption of sustainable transportation.
BLive is aggressively looking for more franchisee partners to join them in their aim to electrify last-mile mobility. They intend to deploy 10,000 EVs in the next 12 months.
“The BLive EZY EV Rental Program is a step forward in making electric vehicles more accessible, providing a cost-effective and hassle-free way for riders to own their EVs. We believe this initiative will not only empower riders but also contribute significantly to reducing carbon emissions in our cities,”
BLive’s founder Samarth Kholkar
The initiative can save participants up to 90% on their gas costs, according to the company. The BLive EZY EV Rental Program, which has already started operations in five cities—Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Goa—has made over 200 EVs available to last-mile delivery riders.
