Honda Activa EV’s Features

  • Design: The Honda Activa EV will feature a design similar to the ICE Activa with an LED headlamp, wide front apron, and flat seat for comfort.
  • Battery Type: It will use Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) cells, offering improved safety and cost-effectiveness.
  • Range: The electric scooter is expected to offer a range of 100-150 km on a single charge.
  • Charging: The scooter will feature battery-swapping technology, providing faster turnaround times for users.
  • Display: The Activa EV will feature a digital instrument cluster with infotainment and possibly a touchscreen display in higher trims.
  • Price: The estimated ex-showroom price of the Activa EV is expected to start at Rs 1 lakh.
  • Competition: The Activa EV will compete with popular electric scooters such as the Bajaj Chetak Electric, TVS iQube, Ather 450X, and Ola Electric S1.
  • Global Launch: While the Indian launch is scheduled for November 27, 2024, the global release will take place in 2025, starting with markets in Indonesia, followed by Japan and Europe.
