Honda Activa EV: A New Era of Electric Scooters

Honda has unveiled the electric version of its popular Activa scooter, marking a significant step toward sustainable mobility. The Activa EV is set to revolutionize the electric scooter market with its advanced features and impressive performance.

  • TFT Instrument Console: Offers a comprehensive range of information, including trip details, range, and navigation.
  • Multiple Ride Modes: Provides Standard and Sport modes for diverse riding preferences.
  • Impressive Range: Delivers an estimated range of 104 km per charge in Standard mode.
  • Sleek Design: Features a modern and stylish design, differentiating it from the petrol-powered Activa.

The Activa EV is expected to deliver power and torque comparable to 110-125 cc petrol scooters. It will offer brisk acceleration and a comfortable ride, thanks to its well-tuned suspension and braking system.

The scooter will feature a single-piece seat and a new design that distinguishes it from the ICE Activa 6G. The headlamp is positioned on the apron, ensuring a modern and sleek look.

The Activa EV will compete with established electric scooters like the Ola S1 series, Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, and Ather 450X. Honda’s strong brand reputation and extensive dealer network will give the Activa EV a significant advantage in the market.

Honda plans to open bookings for the Activa Electric in February 2025, with deliveries expected to commence soon after. The official global unveil is scheduled for November 27, 2024, in Bengaluru.

The Honda Activa EV marks a significant milestone in the evolution of electric scooters. It offers a compelling blend of performance, style, and sustainability, making it an attractive option for eco-conscious consumers.

As the electric vehicle market continues to grow, Honda’s commitment to innovation and sustainability positions the company as a key player in shaping the future of urban mobility.
