Revamp Moto Partners with NACOF Oorja to Revolutionize Rural Mobility

In a significant move aimed at revolutionizing mobility in rural and agricultural regions of India, Revamp Moto, a leading manufacturer of modular electric two-wheelers, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NACOF Oorja, a prominent developer and operator in renewable energy.

The collaboration seeks to introduce innovative, sustainable, and affordable electric vehicle solutions to rural and agricultural sectors, utilizing NACOF’s extensive network within farming communities. At a grand launch event, the MoU was signed in the presence of notable figures including Mr. Ram Iqbal Singh, Founder Chairman of NACOF, and Mr. P. Sureshbabu, Managing Director of NACOF Oorja Pvt. Ltd., along with Revamp Moto’s Co-Founders: Mr. Pritesh Mahajan, Mr. Jayesh Tope, and Mr. Pushkaraj Salunke.

Under this partnership, Revamp Moto will leverage NACOF’s vast network, which exceeds 80 million members, to market and distribute its range of top-tier electric vehicles. The objective is to reach a broader spectrum of micro-entrepreneurs in rural and agricultural India, providing them with sustainable mobility solutions. The collaboration aims to deploy 75,000 to 100,000 of Revamp’s EVs on Indian roads and empower half a million farmers by 2028.

Mr. Ram Iqbal Singh highlighted NACOF’s commitment to simplifying farmers’ lives through renewable energy solutions, including Electric Farm Equipment and Specialized Electric Vehicles. Mr. Jayesh Tope, Co-founder of Revamp Moto, emphasized the partnership’s significance in expanding the market for modular EVs and empowering rural entrepreneurs. Mr. P. Sureshbabu underscored the joint efforts of NACOF Oorja and Revamp Moto in shaping a brighter future, particularly for micro-entrepreneurs and farmers.

The collaboration will offer micro-entrepreneurs accessible business opportunities through Revamp’s Modular Utility Vehicles. These vehicles, equipped with easily swappable co-branded attachments, will enhance productivity and efficiency in rural areas. Financial partners will provide tailored and affordable products, including subsidies, loans, and leasing options, to facilitate vehicle purchases.

Revamp Moto’s Electric Vehicles will meet the transportation and logistics needs of NACOF members and affiliated businesses. Fleet management solutions and integrated IoT technology will enable real-time tracking and performance monitoring, improving operational efficiency and safety.

Aligned with Revamp Moto’s mission to impact 1 million lives by 2028, the partnership aims to positively influence over half a million farmers in India. The collaboration seeks to deploy at least 100,000 vehicles, driving increased productivity, efficiency, and income levels for rural entrepreneurs.
