Yuma Energy Expands Reach, Surges Past One Million Swaps

In just 18 months, Yuma Energy became the first battery-as-a-service (BaaS) company in India to record over one million monthly battery swaps. This high growth rate, following such a short time period, reflects the company’s capability to service a critical market need with its innovative technology and high level of service.

The success of the company underlines the rising demand for quick, efficient, and convenient battery swapping, especially in the electric two-wheeler segment. By offering a reliable and affordable battery-swapping service, the company empowers electric vehicle drivers to overcome range anxiety and enjoy seamless commuting.

Yuma Energy’s Rapid Expansion: Powering India’s Cities

Operating in 10 major cities across the country, Yuma Energy has further continued to see impressive growth as a leading battery-as-a-service company. The network of Yuma Energy now covers Hyderabad, Telangana, adding yet another feather in its cap of strategic expansion.

In fact, with a focused approach and intelligent data analysis, the company has been able to double its urban footprint this year. The company has scaled up operations in six metro cities and four non-metro cities, catering to over 100,000 two-wheeler EV riders. As of today, Yuma boasts 175+ battery-swapping stations that are strategically designed to offer electric vehicle users with easy and efficient ways of charging their vehicles.

Yuma Energy’s General Manager: A Vision for the Future

Muthu Subramanian, the General Manager and Managing Director of Yuma Energy, expressed immense pride in the company’s recent achievement of surpassing one million monthly battery swaps. He highlighted Yuma Energy’s commitment to addressing the critical challenges of charging infrastructure gaps and range anxiety faced by electric vehicle (EV) riders.
